Second we rented items from her for our vow renewal. She was very pleasant and helpful with her suggestions. Her ideas on saving money really helped with our limited budget.
Working with something special was honestly super stressful. Tracy was often unresponsive and continued to provide incorrect invoices. It wasn't until a few days before the wedding that we had the final cost configured. This can be a major obstacle for a bride on a budget. I would not recommend working with Tracey although the rental items and drapery were absolutely gorgeous.

We use Something Special for two events.
Can be difficult to deal with at times. Missed two appointments with me that she made. Left me sitting in front of her shop twice and tried to blame me for her absence! All two weeks before my wedding. I would recommend her for smaller occasions and venues but not for significantly important events. She was decently priced for the rentals, but the communication was very poor and not worth the hassel.
I was planning a huge conference and needed linens for the tables. I had two days to get them. Tracy was amazing and had just what I needed. She was a life saver!
I selected Tracy to be our decorator after one of our friends recommended her. She has a "one stop shop" for tents, chairs, and decorations. The first time we met with her, she was very professional and helpful. Service went down hill after that. When the day began to approach (about 2 weeks out) I tried reaching her serveral times, leaving multiple voicemails. When she would call me back, I'd be at work and unable to answer my phone (I explained my work schedule in the voicemails). She left a message saying she would call me "first thing in the morning", but days went by, and I'd try to contact her again. At this point, all I wanted to do was pay the remainder of our bill, and give her a final head count for seating. I could live with what I mentioned above because my friend told me she was "difficult to get a hold of". However, on my wedding day, she refused to set up the chairs for our ceremony due to the wind. She called my soon to be husband around noon on our wedding day, while we were all getting ready to ask him what our "plan b" was. There was a little wind and rain, but everything was supposed to clear out by 2. My husband told her that we were still planning to get married outside, and that she should set the chairs up out by the archway. She said that the chairs would blown away, and she would not be setting them up. She said she'd stack them by the tent that was provided and said "good luck". My husband had to leave directly after he got done taking the before ceremony photos to set up our ceremony chairs. Tracy also told us that if we had our center pieces at the site when she was setting up the tables, that she would place them for us. However, my sister in law ended up doing that when she came to set up the archway flowers. Tracy was already long gone at that point. I was and still am highly displeased with the lack of professionalism shown by Tracy on the most important day of my life.

First our daughter's wedding. Tracy did a wonderful job. Everything was done on time. She even went beyond my request by adding light to the pillars.
