Use to be really good food now food sucks either new cheef or they don't care.
There are a variety of inconsistencies with this restaurant. I want to say its good because it is once you finally get your food. This restaurant has a lot of down sides and upsides. I like that you can play lotto there while you eat, plus the ice cream selection is great and something that I have enjoyed since I was a kid. The food is not bad at all, but its the service that continues to drive me away. Everything moves as slow as the actual 50's. I like the style, I like that its a place for great pizza parties, but when I come in for lunch and get a fried shrimp basket and it takes 45 minutes to get it to my table. I often think I'm glad I didn't order the fried green bean appetizer that I like because I wonder how much longer it would have taken for me to get either that or my actual entree. Because of this I only will eat there normally when someone else wants to go there> I hope to see things improve in the future.
We had great and awesome service from Cal and the team! He got everything right and was very accommodating of our requests. We have been a million times again and again and will will be back. I just couldn't go without leaving a positive comment!! Thank you!!
I had the salad and steak, and was full and very satisfied. My step-mom and father both got the meatloaf. I hope it was an off night because it wasn't good at all. ( wasn't even in loaf form) They did say the milkshakes were fantastic. Definitely has an old Family Diner atmosphere. I would have to say the service was phenomenal and extremely friendly. Could easily get 5 stars if they stepped up the food just a little bit:)
Local restaurant with a 50s theme. Food is always good, although not the healthiest options...but what do you want at a dinner! The taco pizza is surprisingly good! Make sure to leave room for a sundae or shake, they won't disappoint! Service can be slow when they are busy and there is almost always a wait on weekends and in the evenings.
