He is courteous and will advise on changes that would be beneficial. I never had a problem giving him a call just to discuss ideas, he returns calls promptly and is always willing to listen and help me out.
I had Guy Excavating do quite a bit of work in my yard a couple years ago. They leveled out my yard and stopped the issues I was having with water pooling in many places, back-filled under my AC unit that was sinking, removed multiple dead trees (stumps, roots and all), and relocated a drainage ditch to help stop flooding. I haven't had any problems since they were here and Pat was great to work with.
He brought over his equipment and started . I gotta tell ya.. This guy sees things that this redneck has never seen before. Been in my house for over 7 years and have had not one issue with my driveway.
Patrick and his crew helped me out with a foreclosure house I purchased that had drainage issues which allowed water to seep into the basement. He laid out a plan to dig out around the basement, seal it, and backfill with the appropriate materials. He also regraded the front yard to eliminate water flowing towards the house. Throughout this process, he was in contact with Miss Utility, SMECO, and other companies that were affected. We never had to contact any of them.
I called Pat for numerous things during the building process of my house. He came over and explained a few things to me about my driveway like placement and how to build it up so there would be no issues with it washing out.

I've never seen anyone work a backhoe and bob cat as efficiently as he does, his work is top notch.
We had Pat and his crew redo the lane into our Oakville choose and cut christmas tree farm, as well as cut a new walking/access path around the backside of the property for our tree customers to walk and enjoy the scenery. Our customers continue to be quite impressed (as are we) with both lanes and frequently remark how much like a park our farm is -- the entrance lane creates a very positive first impression. The work was done to very high professional standards and the crew was knowledgeable, professional and obviously very experienced. Pat took care and time to explain the work and the steps before he did it and followed through with his plan with exact detail. Its been about 5 years, but the lane looks like it was done yesterday. Although the work was done expeditiously, it was quite obvious that all of them, not just Pat, cared about the quality of their work. They are truly artisans of a high caliber who are dedicated to quality with integrity. We highly recommend and endorse their work and are now proud to count them as friends.
Not too long ago I had an issue with my septic. I called Pat up once again and he came over and too see what needed to be done. Well again the little things. He made the proper phone calls and started. Before I knew it he had the septic uncovered. After the repairs were done he came to me and asked if I would like to put in risers so the tank would be easier to get to so it could be pumped out without digging up the ground again. (little things) He really does know his stuff and thinks about future details. I have his number on my favorites list on my smart phone.
He and his crew were able to dig out the old driveway and replace the pipes underneath so water flowed through instead of washing out. This driveway is probably 15 ft above the stream at the highest point and crosses a deep ravine. There have not been any issues at all with his work. It is so much better now and I'm not worried about sliding off the driveway due to slick conditions because he also put milled asphalt down.
After a few years of being in my home i realized i needed some extra room for a camper that i had purchased , so i asked him if he could put in an extra driveway on the side of the house. He said No problem. I'll take care of it. He came over and looked over the area that needed the attention. He called Miss Utility and they came and marked all the power lines that ran under the ground where he would be digging. Think it's the little things that he does that really stand out. The rest is just too easy for him. Within two days all that work was done and straw was on the ground where the new grass seed was thrown and wash gravel was on the new driveway.
